Snow in upstate NY requires drastic vehicular changes...to much snow just drive the tractor home. Looks like fun, huh Evie!!

Stina
This is our new heifer, Stina. 
Stina had a bull calf on 1-11-07. He was a cute, spunky, little guy who had to be sold.

Heifer #3
This is our 3rd heifer, Trailor. She is 4 months old and quite energetic. She is a red and white holstien. She has some very pretty markings on her. 
When she finishes her milk replacer meal, she is sure to get all the way to the last drop!! You will know when she is done because you will hear her bucket crash after she flings it across the barn. It is funny but it makes for more work.

FARM KIDS!!
Claire and Kathrine-- neither one is so sure of this being a fun picture, but cute girls anyhow.
Isaac and Kathrine--this boy will make a wonderful baby sitter. He "watches" her in the barn for me. She sits in her seat and Isaac talks to her and reports back what she is doing; whether it is smiling, talking, crying or sleeping he is sure to let me know!
Esther and Kathrine-- What's a three year old to do with a baby... she sometimes "watches" with Isaac. This girl is a character!!
Isaac and Joel-- One to many chocolate cookies for this little guy. If you kneel down to take his picture he will kneel down too so you got to be quick...I wasn't quick.

So this is life in the barn. Eat cookies, play with the kids, watch the baby, milk and feed the cows, and a little friendly banter between the grown-ups.
